Join us in honoring the longest of nights and the suns return to lengthier stays. Nature is always in the process of construction and deconstruction. Nature is purposeful as it regenerates and becomes re-energized by the un-expected.
In this 2-hour class, we experience our bodies as elemental, as nature, as deeply connected to this shadowy season. Accompanied by Diane Chapplin, a world-class cellist and music educator.
We move slowly, connecting to places of support to turn inward and to be with what is quiet. We rest into our own experience, in present time, opening to our mysterious and miraculous bodies. We move through fluid movement expressions as well as familiar restorative yoga postures. We add breath awareness and somatic meditation while inviting the mind/body into a natural state of balance.
